The following project is a great idea for preserving those memories from a special vacation or trip. This was created by design team member, Kim. A supply list is at the end of this post.
Cut card base to 5 ½ x 8 ½. Score on the 8 ½ side at 4 ¼.
Cut a solid piece of card stock to 5 3/8 x 4 1/8.
Cut a patterned piece of paper to 5 ¼ x 4.
Cut (2) pieces of patterned paper to 5 ¼ x 4.
Cut (2) pieces of coordinating patterned paper to 2 ¾ x 4.
Cut one piece of patterned paper on the diagonal.
Optional: Distress Edges of the two small pieces of patterned paper and ink them, if desired.
Adhere the patterned paper from Step 3 to the solid card stock from Step 2.
Adhere to card base.
Adhere the two pieces of patterned paper from Step 4 to the inside panels of the card base.
Apply adhesive to the sides and bottoms only of the patterned paper from Step 5 and adhere to the inside panels as shown in the photo, creating pockets.
Decorate pockets, as desired.
Create inserts from ephemera, tags, etc. to go inside of your pockets, and decorate, as desired.
