Make a Tri-fold Card with the Penguin Party Collection

This adorable card has a peek through window and is such a cute compliment to the Penguin Party collection.  This project was created by design team member, Leslie.  See instructions and a supply list below.

Cut the card base from dark purple cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and score at 4-1/4" on long side. Cut the tri-fold insert from white cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8" and score at 4" on long side.  Cut a 1" x 4-1/4" strip from patterned paper for the bottom of the card front.

Cut a 3-3/4" x 5" panel from patterned paper for the inside of the insert.  Die cut an approximately 3-1/8" circular frame (using two circle dies) from patterned paper for the card front.  Die cut an approximately 2-1/8" x 3-3/8" rectangle from white cardstock for the inside signature panel.

Fold on the card base and insert score lines and burnish with a bone folder.  Using the same (larger) die used to cut the frame, die cut an approximately 3-1/8" circular aperture into the front flap of the card base.

With the score line on the right side, adhere the insert to the inside of the card base.

Adhere the circular frame and the strip to the front flap of the card base.

Adhere the patterned paper panel and die cut rectangle to the inside of the insert.

Stamp, color and die cut the desired images and sentiments.

Create the scene, adhering the images within the edges of the circular aperture.  Adhere the front sentiment across the strip.

Adhere the inside sentiment to the patterned paper panel inside the insert.

Complete the card by adding a few glittered enamel dots and a tiny gingham bow.

Supplies used:

Penguin Party Papers and Sentiment Stamps

Lilac Ribbon and Enamel Dots

Nested Stitched Circles and Rectangles

Cardstock

Bone folder and adhesive
