Want a way to add pizzazz to your cardmaking? Try this triple cube card, created by design team member Leslie. What a clever idea to give as a gift!
INSTRUCTIONS:
(1) Start by cutting a piece of blue cardstock from your stash at 8" x 8-1/2" and score at 2", 4", 6" and 8" on the long side. Rotate the piece 90 degrees and make a cut at 4" and another cut at 6" which will yield two pieces measuring 2" x 8-1/2" and one piece measuring 4" x 8-1/2".

(2) Fold on the score lines and miter the corners of the 1/2" flaps for a clean finish.

(3) Form these pieces into box shapes, adhering the 1/2" flap on the inside.

(4) Flatten the three boxes and lay them out on your table as per the photo above. Ensure the score line is running vertically on the large box and place an X on both sides near the bottom. Likewise, ensure the score lines are running horizontally on both the smaller boxes and place an X on the top half of each box.

(5) Flip the two smaller boxes upward so the X's are facing the X's on the large box and adhere them in place, lining up the outside and bottom edges.

(6) Cut the following layering panels:
A. Six 1-5/8" stamped floral squares.
B. One 1" x 2-7/8" white rectangle with a stamped front sentiment.
C. One 1-1/8" x 3" black rectangle for the front sentiment.
D. Six 1-3/4" black squares.
E. Two 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" white rectangles with stamped floral and stamped back sentiment.
F. Four 1-3/4" patterned paper squares.
NOTE: I used the KIS Forget Me Not stamp set for the stamped floral squares, the Back To Basics Black & White papers for the black squares and rectangle, white cardstock from my stash, and patterned paper from the Jasmine collection.
Additionally, I used the Back To Basics Nested Stitched Squares to cut the stamped floral squares, and the Nested Stitched Rectangles to cut the front sentiment rectangle.

(7) Glue the six stamped floral squares to the black squares and then to the card base. Additionally, glue the four patterned paper squares to the inside areas as per the photo above.

(8) Glue the white sentiment rectangle to the black rectangle and flip it over. Punch two 1" circles using a circle punch in your stash and fold each one in half.

(9) Glue half of each folded circle to the back side of the sentiment rectangle. Be sure the folded edges meet in the middle.

(10) Apply glue to the other two circle halves and anchor them to the corner edge of the lower portion of the card front.

(11) Add a yellow gemstone to the center of each floral.

(12) Flip the card over and adhere the two white rectangles to the back side. Add a yellow gemstone to the center of each of these florals as well. This completes the card.
