Stenciled Backgrounds with Little Dreamer

This shaker card project was created by design team member, Allison. See below for her steps and supply list to create this cute card!

Blend together pink, blue and purple ink with a light hand horizontally on a background sheet of paper. Place ‘Raindrops’ stencil over blended background and ink in blue with a heavier hand. Repeat with all other stencils in the set. Clean stencils.

Tip- Avoid pigment color inks for this technique as it takes longer for them to dry between stencils and the white raindrops won’t pop out as much.

Return one raindrop stencil over existing blend and outline with white gel pen, let dry. Using same raindrop stencil gently blend with detail brush through stencil using white pigment ink. Let dry. Clean stencil. Creating the border and filling in raindrops with white ink make the raindrops pop out!

Create a shaker using A2 #3 shaker frame on raindrop background using Cloud Sprinkles, Clear Rhinestone Sprinkles and Purple Glitter.

Tip- Place Sprinkles on background using your tape to contain the pieces! Scoop out glitter with KIS scoop!

Color in die cut cloud in light blue and sentiment in light pink. Glue ribbon and die cuts to front of shaker panel and place on card base.

Cut ribbon in strips and tie knot to create a simple bow.

Supplies:
Pink, blue, purple ink (no pigment inks)
3 blender brushes
White gel pen
White pigment ink
1 detail brush for pigment ink

Shaker Frame A2 #3
Cloud Sprinkles (picked out purple and white)
Raindrops Stencil
Little Dreamer tamps and coordinating dies
Rhinestone Clear Sprinkles
Purple Glitter
Pastel Gingham Ribbon in Rose
Foam and Acetate pack (cut strips from foam)
KIS Scoop
