To create the base for your 3D Diorama Card, die cut two panels using the base plate die and your desired paper.
Next, choose your desired window shape. Your die set includes a rectangle and a circle die.
(For this example, we are using the circle.)
Place the window die in the center of the large rectangle on one of the base panels and die cut it to create a window.
Next, choose your desired inner panels to create the layers for your 3D Diorama Card. Your die set includes two straight-edged panel dies and two curvy panel dies.
(For this example, we are using the curvy panel dies.)
Die cut the inner layers using your inner panel dies and your desired paper.
Fold all of the die cut panels along the score lines.
Start to assemble the card base by adhering the two base panels together at the center, tab onto straight edge.
Now, start adhering your inner layers to the card base. Start with the larger layer and adhere the inner layer tab along to the score line next to the tab on the window panel, making sure your inner layer is flush with the bottom of the card base.
Fold the larger inner layer back and adhere the smaller inner layer tab directly next to the larger one, again making sure your inner layer is flush with the bottom of the card base.
There should be a gap between the smaller inner layer and the score line on the left.
Fold both inner layers back flat and add adhesive to both tabs.
Fold the right outer flap onto the glued tabs. (They should perfectly line up edge to score line, eliminating the need to glue the tabs down one at a time.)
Once adhered, the bottom of your card base should look like this.
Now is a great time to decorate the inside of your card before you close the front.
Once you are ready to close the card, add adhesive to the remaining tab and adhere the straight edge onto the tab.
Your 3D Diorama card is now ready for you to decorate the outside.
Once your card is complete, you can fold it flat and place it in a 5" x 7" envelope to send to someone special.
