To create the circular pop-up, you will need to die cut your bases, inner mat pieces, and pieces for the outer covers. You will need either the Circular Pop-Up: Square, Circular Pop-Up: Scallop, or Circular Pop-Up: Heart die set.
For this particular project, we used the square version, but the assembly instructions are the same for whichever die set you use.
To create one section in the circular pop-up, take one of the base pieces and fold on the scored lines. You will create a valley fold between the square sections and the flap, and you will create a mountain fold between the triangles.
Next, you can adhere the mat pieces to the base. (You can also decorate after the sections are assembled, if you prefer.)
You will adhere the flap to the underside of the triangle section, creating a half cube.
After you finish assembling all of your sections, you will adhere the sections back to back leaving one section open.
Remove the film (on one side) from your acetate, and attach the acetate to the foam adhesive frame.
Adhere the paper frame to the acetate.
Now, fold the circular pop-up and adhere a length of ribbon along the front and back covers.
Once the ribbon is adhered, you can adhere the shaker frame to the cover over the ribbon and adhere a square mat to the back cover over the ribbon.
Once the covers are attached, tie a bow to create a little "book."
We hope you enjoy creating with your new Circular Pop-Up dies!
