Let's create an Envelope Tuck Card! This project was created by design team member, Leslie. It feature our collection, Barnyard Bliss and can be found on our website at keepitsimplepapercrafts.com.
Instructions:
Cut the card base at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2 from green cardstock and score at 4-1/4" on the long side. Cut the envelope flap at 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" from green cardstock and score at 3/4" on the short side. Mark the center on the long side opposite the score line at 2-3/4" with a light pencil mark. I used a white charcoal pencil. Rotate 90 degrees so the score line is on your left and measure 1-3/4" inward from the left edge and make a light pencil mark at the top and the bottom of the flap.

Cut diagonally from the center mark down to to each of the side marks to create the envelope flap shape. Fold on the score line and adhere the flap to the left side of the open card base with the 3/4" flap on the backside of the card base. The card now looks basically like a trifold. To close the card, simply fold the right-hand panel toward the left and the left-hand envelope flap over top of the right-hand panel.

Cut one 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" patterned paper panel for the envelope flap which you will need to trim to match the cardstock.

Cut one 4" x 5-1/4" patterned paper panel for the front.

Cut two 4" x 5-1/4" panels (one from white cardstock and one from patterned paper) for the inside.

Create the focal panel for the front and tape it in place with a piece of light tack tape. Do not adhere it yet.

Open the flap and place adhesive squares only on the area outside the flap.

Pull the liners off the adhesive squares and adhere the focal panel into place. Remove the light tack tape.
